Refund & Cancellation
Important information regarding your voluntary contributions, payment processing, and transaction guidelines.
1. Voluntary Donations are Non-Refundable
Young India Show Foundation utilizes all voluntary public contributions to procure resources, supply meals, support education drives, and run community medical camps.
Once a donation is completed, the transaction is final. Because funds are immediately allocated and deployed toward charity operations, Young India Show Foundation does not offer refunds or reversals under any normal circumstances.
2. No Cancellation of Donations
We do not have a cancellation policy for voluntary contributions. One-time donations cannot be cancelled once authorized.
If you have set up a voluntary monthly recurring contribution mandate through your card or bank, you can cancel it at any time. You can do this by managing your mandate directly in your initial mandate email, through your bank portal, or by requesting our support desk to delete the billing mandate. However, no refunds will be issued for payments settled prior to mandate cancellation.
3. Technical Errors & Duplicate Settlements
In the event of double settlement, system charging errors, or duplicate transactions caused by payment gateway timeouts, latency, or technical bugs:
- The donor must notify us within 7 working days of the duplicate transaction.
- The request must be sent with formal proof of payment (transaction ID, bank snapshot showing double deduction, and email).
- If our payment gateway confirms double settlement, the duplicate amount will be credited back to the original source within 10 to 15 working days.
4. Section 80G Compliance & Receipts
If an 80G tax exemption receipt has already been generated and dispatched to the donor, we cannot process a transaction reversal under any technical circumstances. This is to ensure compliance with the guidelines set by the Income Tax Department of India.
